Booking Terms
Clear, practical terms for Golden Bond visits.
Bookings & payment
Every visit is individually planned and quoted based on factors such as location, duration, travel, individual or group format and the needs of the visit. A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance is generally invoiced after the visit and is payable within 7 days.
Cancellations & rescheduling
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. With more than 24 hours’ notice, your deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled visit. For cancellations within 24 hours, the deposit may be retained to help cover reserved time and preparation. Where circumstances are genuinely outside your control, we’ll aim for a fair and reasonable outcome.
If Kate or Murphy is unwell, Murphy is unusually tired, or Golden Bond cannot safely provide the visit, we may reschedule. If another suitable date cannot be agreed, amounts already paid for that visit will be refunded.
Suitability & safety
Known allergies, significant fear of dogs and relevant support or access needs should be disclosed before the visit. Children require appropriate adult supervision. For home visits, other household animals must be secured unless agreed beforehand. Facility and hospital visits remain subject to the organisation’s approval and requirements.
Murphy’s welfare
Murphy’s wellbeing is part of every visit. Kate may pause, modify or end an interaction if Murphy shows signs of discomfort, fatigue or stress. Participants must follow Kate’s guidance when interacting with him.
NDIS
Golden Bond is not currently an NDIS registered provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants may enquire and are responsible for confirming whether their funding arrangements allow the proposed service.
Nature of service
Golden Bond primarily provides animal-assisted wellbeing and social visits. Individual suitability is assessed case by case.
