Connection can begin without saying a word.

Animal-Assisted Wellbeing & Therapy Dog Visits

Personalised visits creating opportunities for comfort, companionship, conversation and genuine connection.

Kate and Murphy from Golden Bond Therapy

It’s about the relationship.

Sometimes that means sitting quietly and patting Murphy. Sometimes it means talking about a much-loved pet, reading together, taking a short walk or simply enjoying his company. The person comes first.

It’s always us.

Same handler. Same dog. Same relationship. Recurring visits allow familiarity and trust to develop naturally — showing up, getting to know people and coming back.

Wellbeing or therapy?

Golden Bond primarily provides animal-assisted wellbeing and social visits. We don’t describe a service as clinical therapy simply because a therapy dog is involved.

Murphy’s wellbeing matters too.

A good visit works both ways. Kate monitors Murphy’s comfort, energy and behaviour and will pause, modify or reschedule when needed. Murphy isn’t a tool we bring to a session. He’s Kate’s partner in it.

Thinking about a visit?

Tell Kate a little about who Murphy would be visiting, where you are and what you would like the visit to achieve. We’ll talk through suitability and provide a personalised quote.
